Michael Modeste
QUOTED
After being introduced to Analysis Plus cables at this year’s NAMM show, I can honestly say I won’t go back to any other cable brand live or in studio. There is no comparison. Hands down this is the best cable I’ve ever used.
BIO
Michael Modeste is the powerhouse, lightning-fast fingerstyle bassist behind the American four-piece Thrash Heavy Metal band, Dead by Wednesday. At the age of 16, Michael started playing the guitar and bass almost at the same time, spending a few years on each instrument. It would be another seven years before making the switch permanently to the bass guitar. Shortly after, Michael studied Jazz Performance at The Hartford Conservatory for Performing Arts as well as The Drum and Bass Collective in NYC.
Heavily immersed in the New York City jazz fusion and progressive metal scene of the era, Michael played various gigs and sessions throughout the CT, NYC, and NJ tri-state area. In 2006 Michael became a founding member of New Haven, CT’s Dead by Wednesday and out of the box they quickly caught the attention of Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta who went on to release their debut album on his label, Stillborn Records. The band has gone on to release 7 acclaimed studio albums. With several domestic and international tours under their belt, their latest album Capitol Conspiracy, have two singles featured on MTV’s ‘Metal Thrashing Madness’.
